SLOW DAYS AHOY
Not much added, but I finally got the flash to work on the main page, plus I just added a bunch of images to the gallery which include;
Orphan - official stills, trailer captures, some more posters, and wallpapers.
Whiteout - trailer captures and 1 more poster.

I am a lazy, lazy busy person, but hey, at least instead of working on the FILMS section, I've been getting some nifty media and images right?

Updated the site with those Fangoria magazine scans, and of course the soundtrack has the Return to House on Haunted Hill OST now. Still (of course) working on the film section.

ALL WORK AND NO PLAY
I got a hold of a bunch of old Fangoria magazines with articles on Dark Castle's films, so I'm in the process of scanning those in. I've also got my hands on the soundtrack to Return to House on Haunted Hill.
In regards to things you can actually view, the film section is now open, and though only five films are up with limited things available, it's still worth a viewing. As for this section goes (in regards to deleted scenes and additional DVD features) I'm going to shortly be recording the extras and putting them on the site. I still have a lot of work ahead of me.
The Dark Castle panel at Comic Con (which was held Thursday, July 25th) was interesting and there are a lot of neat things ahead. You can see pictures of the panel here.

NEWS
A lot of news is springing up lately and I know I've been falling behind. Those of you who don't know, Dark Castle has signed up with CIT and opened their production company with all genres of movies and not just horror. Truthfully, I'm not happy with their decision and the sole reason I started this site was because it was supposed to be an all horror genre company. So, keeping true to the nature of when Dark Castle was first made, this site shall remain an all horror place. Meaning, it's now become a site for just Dark Castle Horror. And this includes thriller as well, since the two genres are closely related to one another. I'm in debates about this. :/
In regards to horror news, Dark Castle is working on a lot of new films;
Whiteout: Which stars Kate Beckinsale, based on the comic with the same name, as a US Marshal in Antarctica looking for a serial killer. Orphan: Which stars Peter Sarsgaard and Vera Farmiga who adopt a child that turns out to be a little terror. The Factory: Which stars John Cusack whose daughter is kidnapped and in order to rescue her, he has to go to some deep places within his mind. The Hills Run Red: A direct to DVD movie, the film is about a fanatic who goes on the search for a hard to find movie about a slasher that leads him into the woods where the film was made. He finds out that the filming never ended and he is about to become a part of the movie. And they're even doing a comic book titled Ferryman which I think is somehow tied into the film Ghost Ship. (Well, it better be. I've been dying for a sequel.)
In some exciting news, Dark Castle is going to be having their own panel at Comic Con this year (2008), and of course I'll be there. Last year, they had a Return to House on Haunted Hill panel that I got pictures of and I declined to put up on this site for reasons unknown.Because I'm lazy.

Happy New Years (yeah, I know I'm twelve days late)... So the site is just about done. I've got the links up, and added more into the media section, but I still have to add in some missing songs for the soundtrack, and work on the films section, which is going to be filled with a lot (those of you who remember my old site will know just how much information is included with the films section).

RE OPENING
If I didn't have a life outside of the computer, and didn't work twelve hours a day, I guarantee that this site would've come together a lot faster. I figured since the site is "just about" finished, I should open it up anyway and let you guys take a look at what we do have up. And actually, there's quite a good number of things to see while I finish up the rest of the site. The gallery is done, plus a bunch of media and fan things. Not to mention the soundtrack is just about finished, so you guys can download music there. As for the movies section and links section (plus some information about why the site came to be,) well, I'll be getting to work on that shortly. But for now, enjoy what there is, and comment our guestbook!
